Graduates Penn State

UNIVERSITY PARK — Jeffrey Kranzel graduated with high distinction from Penn State University Schreyer Honor College, with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish.

UNIVERSITY PARK — Jeffrey Kranzel graduated with high distinction from Penn State University Schreyer Honor College, with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish.

Kranzel is a son of Michael and Marybeth Kranzel of Harrisburg and a grandson of Edward and Mary Chapman of Den-Mar Gardens, and the late Isadore and Edith Kranzel of Centralia.

While at Penn State, Jeffrey was a member of Theta Chi fraternity and was active with Penn State Dance Marathon. He served as the finance overall chairperson for Homecoming 2007.

At graduation, Kranzel received the Ralph H. Wherry Student Service Award from the Smeal College of Business, which honors a graduating senior who has excelled in service to the college, has exhibited high academic achievement, and manifests the promise of a successful professional career.

Kranzel is completing a one-year internship as a post-graduate technical assistant with the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) in Norwalk, Conn.
