MOUNT CARMEL — Jesse L. Miller, 19, of 243 W. Seventh St., Mount Carmel, pleaded guilty to a charge of harassment and stalking and was sentenced by Magisterial District Judge Michael F. Mychak to serve 11 days in jail and pay fines and court costs totaling $332.55 following a preliminary hearing Thursday.
Charges of terroristic threats, loitering and prowling at night and disorderly conduct were withdrawn.
Miller was charged by Mount Carmel Patrolman Justin Stelma following an incident July 6 when Miller allegedly tried to break into a residence and threatened to do bodily harm to another person.
MOUNT CARMEL — Charges of criminal conspiracy, possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance filed against Megan J. Perchinski, 20, of 226 Lavelle Road, Ashland, were withdrawn Thursday by a Northumberland County assistant district attorney.
She was charged by Mount Carmel Sgt. Todd L. Owens following an investigation May 29.
