Underage drinking
SUNBURY — State police at Stonington reported Chase Harpster, 18, of Route 522, Selinsgrove, and a 17-year-old Selinsgrove male will be cited for underage drinking relating to a July 15 incident along Route 147, less than one mile south of here.
Police said the incident occurred at 3:20 a.m.
Windshields smashed
COAL TOWNSHIP — Police here are investigating acts of vandalism involving windshields being shot out on vehicles late Friday night or early Saturday morning.
Lisa Krieger, of 1220 Hemlock St., Coal Township, reported someone smashed out the back windshield on her vehicle, parked near her residence, causing approximately $500 in damage.
Janet Millard, of 516 Webster St., Ranshaw, told police someone smashed out the back windshield on her vehicle parked at the rear of her home, causing $500 in damage.
Aaron Kuzmick, of 1300 Hemlock St., Coal Township, and Timothy Yost, of 1537 Wabash St., Coal Township, told police someone smashed out the front windshield on their vehicles parked near their residences, causing $500 and $250 in damage, respectively.
Hit and run
COAL TOWNSHIP — Erin Snyder, of 1500 Pulaski Ave., Coal Township, told police the passenger side of her vehicle sustained moderate damage in a hit-and-run accident between 8 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday on Sherman Street.
Disorderly conduct
COAL TOWNSHIP — Matt Deitz, 18, of Mount Carmel, and Anthony Raybuck Jr., 19, of Kulpmont, were charged by Patrolman Chad Yoder with disorderly conduct relating to a fight at 1:40 a.m. July 12 in the parking lot at McDonald’s along Route 61.
Jake Stellar, 18, of Mount Carmel, also was cited for driving without a license after he was found operating a vehicle in which Deitz left the scene in.
ATV stolen
COAL TOWNSHIP — Dennis Felty, 48, of Pine Grove, reported someone stole his 2001 Honda 400EX all-terrain vehicle (ATV) from the third patch of Bear Valley between 3 and 4 p.m. Friday.
The ATV is valued at approximately $2,800.
Two cited in fight
SHAMOKIN — Craig Becker Jr., 21, of 214 S. Franklin St., Shamokin, and a 17-year-old Trevorton male were cited by Patrolman Ray Siko II for disorderly conduct relating to a fight at 8:50 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of South Franklin Street.
Obscene language
SHAMOKIN — Anthony J. Fifolt, 22, of Lincoln, Del., was cited by Patrolman Jarrod Scandle for disorderly conduct for allegedly using obscene language shortly before 3 a.m. Sunday at Ninth and Independence streets.
Harassment
SHAMOKIN — Lynn M. Sessions, 46, of 149 N. Grant St., Shamokin, was cited by Cpl. Robert Wolfe for harassment involving a disturbance that occurred at about 7:30 p.m. June 27 at Sixth and Walnut streets.
Bad checks
SUNBURY — A 25-year-old Sunbury man was arrested after passing a bad check.
Dragan Jakovljevic, 25, was charged after John Henninger, from Pillow, went to city police with a $1,500 rent check that Jakovljevic had written from a closed account, according to police. Jakovljevic had also kept the gas and electricity accounts in Henninger’s name after moving in to 1125 Susquehanna Ave., getting about $600 in service from the utilities.
Jakovljevic was charged with misdemeanor counts of theft by deception, bad checks and two counts of theft or services. Charges have been filed by Magisterial District Judge Robert Bolton.
