Disorderly conduct
MOUNT CARMEL — Benjamin C. Hornberger, 22, of 41 W. Sixth St., Mount Carmel, and Levi Zagata, 30, of 312 S. Chestnut St., Mount Carmel, were both cited by Cpl. Christopher Buhay for disorderly conduct relating to a disturbance outside Hornberger’s residence at 11:50 a.m. July 15.
Burglary charges
MOUNT CARMEL — Patrolman David Donkochik has filed charges of burglary, criminal trespass, theft and receiving stolen property against two male juveniles from Mount Carmel.
Police said a 14-year-old and a 15-year-old are accused of entering the residence of Paul Tuohy, of 16 E. Second St., Mount Carmel, on July 7 and removing an undisclosed amount of prescription medications.
Hit and run
UPPER MAHANOY TOWNSHIP — State police at Stonington are continuing their search today for a hit-and-run driver involved in an accident at 3 p.m. Saturday along Super Road (township Route 369) in this Northumberland County township.
Police reported a vehicle traveling west on Super Road went across the eastbound lane and struck the rear of a 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier parked on the south berm. The driver of the hit-and-run vehicle then fled the scene.
Dog found
COAL TOWNSHIP — A brown and white male Jack Russell terrier was recently found along Route 901 near Excelsior. The owner of the dog can contact Coal Township police at 644-0333 or the SPCA in Danville.
