Disorderly conduct
SHAMOKIN — Leonard E. Castetter, 40, of 122 E. Chestnut St., Shamokin, was cited for disorderly conduct and harassment following an incident at 5:25 p.m. Monday at 24 E. Willow St.
Police alleged Castetter was involved in a verbal and physical altercation with Tammy Lubnow, 41, of East Willow Street. Patrolman Raymond J. Siko II reported Lubnow’s shirt was torn, and that she suffered marks and scratches to both sides of her neck and redness to her face.
Tools taken
COAL TOWNSHIP — Steve Conrad Sr., owner of Conrad Trucking on South Fifth Street in Coal Township, reported someone entered his business and stole a battery tester and numerous tools, including air tools, between Saturday and Sunday. Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call police at 644-0333.
Signs stolen
COAL TOWNSHIP — Two cones and a “Road Closed” sign was stolen from Poplar and Fern streets between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday. Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call police at 644-0333.
Bicycle found
COAL TOWNSHIP — Police have recovered a bicycle, described as a blue and purple 20-inch Next Tropical Splash. Anyone missing a bicycle can contact police at 644-0333.
Disorderly conduct
SHAMOKIN — Corey J. Feese, 18, of 530 Bear Valley Ave., was cited by Patrolman Raymond J. Siko II for disorderly conduct following an incident at 5:35 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Fifth and Mulberry streets. A witness reported Feese’s language and actions were out of control at the time.
DUI charges
LOCUST GAP — A Montoursville woman is charged with driving under the influence following an accident June 19 along Routes 901/54.
Lt. Brian Hollenbush, Mount Carmel Township police, reported Barbara M. McManus, 39, exhibited physical signs of intoxication and failed field sobriety testing. A blood test found her blood alcohol content to be .247 percent, exceeding the .08 legal limit.
McManus was charged at the office of Magisterial District Judge Michael F. Mychak, Mount Carmel, with driving under the influence and careless driving.
Disorderly conduct
SHAMOKIN — Evelyn Hood, 56, of 112 Academy St., Shamokin, was cited by Cpl. Edward Griffiths for disorderly conduct for playing her stereo too loud at 1:30 a.m. Thursday. Police said the music could be heard a block away.
Two vehicle crash
WAYNE TOWNSHIP — A Pine Grove man suffered a minor injury in a two-vehicle crash at 4:58 p.m. Wednesday on Route 183 at the intersection with Route 895 in Wayne Township.
State police at Schuylkill Haven reported a 2006 Ford F-150 truck driven by Keith A. Burkhart, 28, was stopped in the lane of travel of Route 183 facing north and waiting to make a left turn onto Route 895 to travel west, when a 2002 Dodge Dakota, driven by Jessica Hoffman, 25, of Ashland, came north on Route 183 and was unable to stop in time, striking the F-150’s rear bumper with her vehicle’s front bumper.
Police reported Hoffman will be cited for driving at an unsafe speed.
