PAXINOS — Jamie Bucklar had a 79 and Justin Fiorillo an 80 to lead Pottsville to a 327-394 win over Lourdes Regional in Schuylkill League Central Division golf Tuesday at Indian Hills.
Lourdes’ Billy Ditchey matched Bucklar for medalist honors but the Red Raiders (1-1) could not match the grouping of the Crimson Tide (1-1). Jake Barton shot 83 and Greg Merrick 85 for the Tide.
Neil Khanna was second for Lourdes with 89. followed by Emily Stewart (11) and Jared Shutt (115).
Bears nip Spartans
MOWRY — Kyle Kozie, Tom Collins and Brandon Isgate shot 75, 76 and 77 to lead Mahanoy Area to a 308-321 win over North Schuylkill Tuesday at Rolling Meadows. Jeff Bair’s 80 rounded out the Golden Bears’ (2-0) score.
Mike Bucher led North Schuylkill (1-1) with a 77, followed by Brian Noonan (80), Ian Paul (81), Will Waldick (83).
