CSIU honors Boyer as September Star of the Month

MONTANDAN — Jan Boyer, of Shamokin Dam, has been honored by the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit (CSIU) as Star of the Month for September.
Recipients of the award are honored by colleagues for special accomplishments or for going above or beyond their work responsibilities. The star designation illustrates that CSIU staff are stars whose achievements and successes contribute to the CSIU’s commitment to “enriching learning, enriching lives.” The CSIU Star of the Month Award is announced and celebrated at the recipient’s work location.
Boyer is a recruitment, employment and certification administrative assistant in the Human Resources Office in the Division of Employee and Community Relations. She has worked at the CSIU since 1998.
Boyer was recognized for her professionalism and personal commitment to serving co-workers. A colleague who nominated Boyer for the award was particularly impressed by how she helped resolve a complicated issue involving a staff member’s professional certification.
