Named to SU senator

SELINSGROVE — Adam Krushinskie, of Shamokin, has been elected sophomore class senator of the Student Government Association (SGA) by the Susquehanna University student body. He will hold the position for the 2008-09 academic year.

The SGA is designed to ensure an active student voice and role in governing the university. The Student Senate, the legislative branch of the association, provides a forum for student opinions. It deals with issues of concern to the student body and seeks solutions to campus problems. SGA representatives serve on university committees and the Board of Trustees.

Krushinskie, a political science major, is a 2007 graduate of Shamokin Area High School. He is a son of Steven and Judith Krushinskie.
