A daughter, Makenna Lynn Rumbel, was born to Amanda Mayernick and Bradley Rumbel, of Mount Carmel, on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009, at Schuylkill Medical Center South, Pottsville. The baby weighed 7 pounds, 1/2 ounce and was 19 1/2 inches in length. Maternal grandparents are Stephen and Mary Mayernick, of Wilburton. Paternal grandparents are Rose and Dave Carls, of Frackville, and Paul and Karen Rumbel, of Pattersonville. This is the couple's first child.
