John Marquette and Janine Mattucci
SHADY ACRES - Joseph and Lee Anne Mattucci, of Shady Acre, announce the engagement of their daughter, Janine Mattucci, to John Marquette, son of John and Rita Marquette, of Trevorton.
The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes Regional High School. She is a 2006 graduate of Bloomsburg University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in special education. She will graduate from Wilkes University with a master's degree in educational strategies and development this summer.
The future groom is a 2003 graduate of Line Mountain High School. He graduated from Triangle Tech with an associate's degree in welding and fabrication technology in 2009.
Grandparents of the groom are Robert and Betty Marquette, of Trevorton, and Marlene Reck, of Trevorton, and the late Clement Reck. Great-grandmother is Helen Hollenbach, of Trevorton.
Grandparents of the bride are Mary Cioffi, of Holbrook, N.Y, and the late Jack and Alice Higgins and the late Eugene Mattucci.
The wedding will take place Aug. 29 at Divine Redeemer Church.
