MOUNT CARMEL - Jeanne Marie Bach and Michael Patrick Looby were married on Aug. 22, 2009 in the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. The Very Rev. Francis J. Karwacki officiated.

The bride chose this date to carry on a family tradition. Jeanne is a daughter of Francis and Mary Bach, of Mount Carmel, and Michael is a son of John and Patricia Looby, of Chester, N.J.

The bride chose her sisters, Mary Stacey Bach and Beth Anne Snyder as her honor attendants. Marianne Blendick, Jillian Shipp and Erica Szymanski, friends of the bride, and Jacqueline Looby, sister of the groom, were bridesmaids.

The groom's brother, Sean Looby, was best man. Christopher Murdoch, David Paden, Jason Schleicher and Alex Wishnie, friends of the groom, and Jonathan Bach, brother of the bride, were groomsmen.

Kyle C. Snyder was the organist and Liz Leitzel was the soloist at the wedding Mass. Greeters were Anne Pizzoli and Floss Ecker, aunts of the bride. Program attendants were Danielle Strausser and Danielle Dallazia, friends of the bride. The scripture readers were Thomas Reynolds, uncle of the groom, Cathy Chervanick, aunt of the bride, and James Kealy, cousin of the bride. The offertory gifts were presented by Mary McMahon and Matthew Reynolds, godparents of the groom, and Anne Frances Pizzoli, godmother of the bride, and Antoinette Bach, aunt of the bride.

A reception was held at the Elks Lodge in Danville. The couple honeymooned at Sandals Resort in St. Lucia.
