Runaway Bay, Jamaica, was the setting for the ceremony joining Heather Dawn Douglas and Nicholas Joseph Letcavage in holy matrimony. The ceremony uniting the couple was performed at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2009.
The bride is a daughter of William R. Douglas and Victoria Mary Douglas, both of West Milton. The groom is a son of Thomas and Judy Letcavage, of Shamokin, and Annette and Robert Buczeskie, of Kulpmont.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose Stephanie Hendershot to be her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Angela Letcavage and Rebeka Buczeskie, the groom's sisters, Michelle McGinley and Julissa Reed.
The groom chose Thomas Letcavage and Drew Letcavage, his brothers, to be his best men. Groomsmen were Jacob Shinskie, the groom's cousin, Jared Mannello and Chris McGinley.
After a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple are residing in Bloomsburg.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of Lewisburg Area High School, a 2003 graduate of Bloomsburg University and a 2007 graduate of Lock Haven University. She is employed at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, as a physician assistant.
The groom is a 1998 graduate of Mount Carmel Area High School and a 2007 graduate of Pennsylvania College of Technology. He is employed at Geisinger Medical Center as a neurointerventional technologist.
