 SHAMOKIN - John R. Reichwein, 22, of 1141 W. State St., Coal Township, waived to court Tuesday charges of criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness and was ordered by Magisterial District Judge John Gembic III to appear for arraignment Aug. 4 at Northumberland County Courthouse, Sunbury.

Reichwein was charged by Shamokin Patrolman Raymond Siko II in connection with a May 10 disturbance at the skate park on North Rock Street.

 SHAMOKIN - Michael A. Knowles, 18, of 53 S. Franklin St., Shamokin, waived to court charges of criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and underage drinking relating to the same incident.

He also was ordered by Gembic to appear for arraignment on Aug. 4.

 SHAMOKIN - Taylene M. Dietrich, 22, of 1119 W. Fern St., Coal Township, waived to court Tuesday two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, careless driving and driving without a license involving a traffic stop in the 700 block of Bear Valley Avenue on Feb. 21.

The charges were filed by Shamokin Patrolman Darwin Tobias III.

Deitrich was ordered by Magisterial District Judge John Gembic III to appear for arraignment Aug. 4 at Northumberland County Courthouse, Sunbury.

 SHAMOKIN - Jonathan E. Latsha, 21, of 923 W. Water St., Coal Township, pleaded guilty Tuesday to harassment and was ordered by Magisterial District Judge John Gembic III to pay a $100 fine plus costs.

Additional charges of simple assault and disorderly conduct were withdrawn.

Latsha was charged by Shamokin Patrolman Darwin Tobias III in connection with an April 1 disturbance at Third and Gowen streets.

 SHAMOKIN - Jessie Odell Marshall, 42, of 223 N. Sixth St., Sunbury, waived to court Tuesday two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without a license, limitations on overtaking a vehicle on the left, failure to drive in a single lane and careless driving involving a Jan. 20 incident along Route 61 near Shamrock Road in Shamokin Township.

Marshall was charged by Trooper Marc Yemzow of state police at Stonington.

Marshall was ordered by Magisterial District Judge John Gembic III to appear for arraignment Aug. 4 at Northumberland County Courthouse, Sunbury.

 SHAMOKIN - Timothy L. Jeremiah, 19, of 1113 N. Shamokin St., Shamokin, waived to court Tuesday charges of aggravated assault of a police officer, institutional vandalism, simple assault, harassment/stalking, criminal mischief, receiving stolen property and resisting arrest.

Jeremiah was charged by Shamokin Patrolman Raymond Siko II in connection with disturbances at his home and Shamokin Police Station on April 29.

Jeremiah was ordered by Magisterial District Judge John Gembic III to appear for arraignment Aug. 4 at Northumberland County Courthouse, Sunbury.

 SHAMOKIN - Thomas R. Brown, 33, of 104 N. Beech St., Mount Carmel, pleaded guilty Tuesday to a misdemeanor of disorderly conduct and was ordered by Magisterial District Judge John Gembic III to pay a $200 fine plus costs and placed on supervised probation for one year.

Additional charges of terroristic threats and harassment were withdrawn.

Brown was charged by Trooper Thomas Leib of state police at Stonington in connection with a May 1 disturbance outside a residence along Route 61 in Shamokin Township.

 SHAMOKIN - Matthew R. Reeder, 19, of 1018 E. Kase St., Shamokin, pleaded guilty Tuesday to harassment and was ordered by Magisterial District Judge John Gembic III to pay a $25 fine plus costs.

Additional charges of simple assault and disorderly conduct were withdrawn.

Reeder was charged by Shamokin Patrolman Raymond Siko II in connection with a May 31 disturbance at his home.

 MOUNT CARMEL - Bonnie Marie Lahr, 24, and Paul B. Neitz, 40, both of 122 N. Hickory St., Mount Carmel, saw charges of endangering the welfare of children and disorderly conduct bound to court after a preliminary hearing Wednesday in front of Senior Magisterial District Judge Michael F. Mychak.

Lahr and Neitz are both accused of endangering their three young children on May 20. Police said all three children, under the age of three, were dirty and appeared as if they hadn't bathed in several days. Also, the 3 year-old was playing in the street near their home. Police said inside the home were prescription medication accessible to the children, the floor was dirty and covered with food, garbage and other junk items. The carpet on the second floor was covered with cat and rabbit droppings and the children's bedroom had no usable beds present, police said. In addition, when a Children and Youth employee asked for a coat for the 18 month-old female child, Neitz said, "why don't you throw some gas on her and light it," according to police. On the way out of the home, Lahr threw a coat at the caseworker and the baby, which hit the baby in the head, police said.

Mount Carmel Patrolman David Donkochik filed the charges.

Lahr was ordered by Mychak to appear for formal arraignment on Aug. 4 at Northumberland County Courthouse, Sunbury.

 MOUNT CARMEL - Darrel L. Fite, 23, of 300 W. Third St., Apt. 9, Mount Carmel, saw two counts of criminal trespass and one count each of loitering and harassment, relating to a June 15 disturbance, bound to court after a preliminary hearing Wednesday in front of Senior Magisterial District Judge Michael F. Mychak.

The charges were filed by Mount Carmel Patrolman William Adamski.

Fite was ordered by Mychak to appear for formal arraignment on Aug. 4 at Northumberland County Courthouse, Sunbury.

 MOUNT CARMEL - Ronald L. Carey, 31, of 450 Columbia Ave., Atlas, saw charges of theft by unlawful taking, possessing an instrument of crime, receiving of stolen property, two counts of criminal mischief and criminal conspiracy bound to court after a preliminary hearing Wednesday in front of Senior Magisterial District Judge Michael F. Mychak.

The charges were filed by Brian Lee Price of the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Bureau of Forestry relating to an incident that occurred between June 1 and November 27, 2007.

Price said Carey caused $60,000 in damage to mining equipment located on the Roaring Creek tract of Weiser State Park in Mount Carmel Township.

Carey was ordered by Mychak to appear for formal arraignment on Aug. 4 at Northumberland County Courthouse, Sunbury.

n MOUNT CARMEL - Sheila Frits, 34, of 728 Market St., Sunbury, waived to court charges of recklessly endangering another person Wednesday in front of Senior Magisterial District Judge Michael F. Mychak.

The charges were filed by Mount Carmel Patrolman Matthew Dillman relating to a disturbance on May 25 at 13 E. Water St. in the borough. Police said Frits did not call 911 when Raymond C. Delaney, of 13 E. Water St., was overdosing on pills.

Frits was ordered by Mychak to appear for formal arraignment on Aug. 4 at Northumberland County Courthouse, Sunbury.

 MOUNT CARMEL - John J. Yadlosky, 19, of 441 S. Shamokin St., Shamokin, waived to court charges of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property Wednesday in front of Senior Magisterial District Judge Michael F. Mychak.

The charges were filed by Ralpho Township Police Patrolman Bryon Chowka relating to the alleged theft of a camera on April 11 from 283 Penn Ave., Elysburg.

Yadlosky was ordered by Mychak to appear for formal arraignment on Aug. 4 at Northumberland County Courthouse, Sunbury.

 MOUNT CARMEL - Kenny V. Bunch, 26, of 21 W. Church St., Shamokin, plead guilty to harassment charges Wednesday in front of Senior Magisterial District Judge Michael F. Mychak.

The charges were filed by Kulpmont Patrolman Cade E. Holden in connection with a disturbance on June 3 at 1425 Chestnut St., Kulpmont. Police said Bunch left a threatening message on the phone of Mike McCaffery. Bunch was ordered to pay $138 in fines and court costs.

n MOUNT CARMEL - James Kuczewski, 50, of 327 N. Locust St., Mount Carmel, waived to court charges of theft and receiving stolen property Wednesday in front of Senior Magisterial District Judge Michael F. Mychak.

The charges were filed by Mont Carmel Township Patrolman Kelly Campbell relating the alleged theft of $10,820.50 worth of heavy equipment parts from Mallard Contracting in Diamondtown on June 1.

Kuczewski was ordered by Mychak to appear for formal arraignment on Aug. 4 at Northumberland County Courthouse, Sunbury.

 MOUNT CARMEL - Sylvester F. Amarose, 53, of 113 E. Saylor St., Atlas, waived to court two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, accidents involving damage to an unattended object, failing to notify police of the accident and careless driving Wednesday in front of Senior Magisterial District Judge Michael F. Mychak.

The charges were filed by Mount Carmel Township Police Officer Ryan Filarski relating to an incident that occurred at 9:33 p.m. March 29 in Atlas.

Amarose was ordered by Mychak to appear for formal arraignment on Aug. 4 at Northumberland County Courthouse, Sunbury.
