MOUNT CARMEL - This week's "sore spot" is at 1-2 Donahue Row. The home was featured at an Aug. 26 judicial sale but went unsold.

The home has a collapsed back porch and several broken windows; its entire foundation is crumbling. According to Mount Carmel Code Enforcement Officer Robin Williams, the home is a hazard for emergency vehicles attempting to drive down the street.

This week's "bright spot" features the homes on Spruce Street, Mount Carmel. Homeowners on this street keep well-maintained lawns and adorn their properties with seasonal decorations. Several of the properties also feature colorful trees and bushes.
