HARRISBURG — Susquehanna Valley Libertarian Party Chair, Drew Bingaman, of Sunbury, was elected to chair of the Libertarian Party of Pennsylvania on Sunday at the party’s annual convention. Bingaman said in a press statement, “I am looking to move the LPPA forward. We made great strides in 2016 with the presidential race, and I hope to carry that momentum forward into the 2017 municipal election.”

“I believe we have a strong and diverse executive committee and we are all interested in moving forward, growing the party and committed to fighting oppressive and over burdensome government.”

Also elected were Chris Bastone, of Philadelphia, to eastern vice chair; William Sloane, of Cumberland County, to central vice chair; Jessica Santiago, of Allegheny County, to western vice chair; Steven Brenize, of Cumberland County, to secretary; and Joe Soloski, of Centre County, to treasurer.

Bingaman works in the technology industry, was a delegate to the 2016 Libertarian National Convention and has been chair of the growing Susquehanna Valley Libertarian Party since 2013.

The Libertarian Party of Pennsylvania is the largest third party in Pennsylvania. For more information go to LPPA.org or email Drew Bingaman at Chair@susquehannavalleylp.org.
