Coal Township street sweeping schedule

COAL TOWNSHIP — The Coal Township Street Department will be sweeping the following locations during the fourth week (April 24 to 28) of its annual street sweeping. Residents are asked to please have their vehicles moved by 7a.m. on the day that their street is scheduled to be swept.

West End

Monday — The south side (even numbered side) of Mulberry Street from First Street to Jackson Street.

Tuesday — The north side (odd numbered side) of State Street from Coal Township line west to Jackson Street.

Wednesday — The south side (even numbered side) of State Street from Coal Township line west to Jackson Street.

Thursday — The north side (odd numbered side) of Willow Street from Oak Street to Jackson Street in the morning and the south side (even numbered side) in the afternoon. The north side (odd numbered side) of Montgomery Street from Oak Street to Jackson Street in the morning and the south side (even numbered side) in the afternoon.

Friday — The north side (odd numbered side) of Independence Street from First Street to Kulp Street in the morning and the south side (even numbered side) in the afternoon. The 900 block of Pine Street above the wall.

Trevorton Road

Highview Estates and all roads on the upper and lower sides of State Route 225 will be done Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. This will start with Highview Estates on Monday and branch out over the three-day period. Residents are asked to watch for the posting of no parking signs.
