Endless battle

Excellent letter to the editor by Mr. Daniels on the religious origin of left and right. Hope you read it. Also, how can we all be on the same team when the left keeps messing the U.S. up and the right keeps trying to fix it? It’s an endless battle.

Thanks again

In the last eight years, the stock market when from 6,700 to 2,200 and unemployment fell from about 10 to 4.3 percent. Thanks again, President Obama.

Good dogs

I agree that people should clean up after their dogs. But I was taught that the spirit leaves the body and goes to heaven, and my husband died young was cremated and buried by Catholic Church law and laid to rest where he used to hunt with his dogs. My whole family were animal lovers. When I was a child, my mom took me to see Greyfriars Bobby, a true story where a whole town adopted a dog who would never leave his deceased owner’s grave. Some would be thrilled to have an animal there, just clean up.

Mind your business

People should mind their own business and not worry about what other people are doing. It makes life easier and happier. Do you own thing and quit putting people down. If you have a problem with someone, tell them about it. Honesty is the best policy and its better than putting it on Facebook or Sound Off. Grow a set of grapefruits and quit crying about petty stuff. Enough is enough! Waaaa!

Willful ignorance

From all the comments I thought the letter by Daniels was going to be something great. Sadly, it turned out to be just another hate-filled, misinformed, self-righteous rant from just another clueless, conservative, religious zealot. I wish all these small minded, judgmental gas bags could understand how silly they sound to most people, and if there is a God, how disappointed she is with them because of their willful ignorance.

Helmets

I think a man with a helmet defending our country should make more money than a man with a helmet defending a football.

Don’t watch?

How does Service Electric get away with pretending to be cable TV? I pay $83 a month for commercials and reruns. I saw the same guy shot the same turkey four times in one day. Come on, Service Electric, defend yourself.

A lovely day

The weather was good. The food was delicious. The people working the stands were friendly. The fireworks were absolutely beautiful. The Lord really smiled down on Holy Angel’s picnic in Kulpmont. Loved it all. Bless you all.
