n Patrick A. Magee, 37, of 1133 W. Mulberry St., Coal Township, waived to court Wednesday two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and one count of careless driving relating to an April 23 traffic stop along Route 54/901 near Locust Gap.
Mount Carmel Township Patrolman Daniel Politza filed the charges.
Magee was ordered by Senior Magisterial District Judge Michael Mychak to appear for arraignment Aug. 4 at Northumberland County Courthouse, Sunbury.
n Charges of forgery, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property filed by Mount Carmel Officer Matthew Dillman against Matthew Oshman, 20, of 136 S. Walnut St., Mount Carmel, were withdrawn Wednesday by the commonwealth at the office of Senior Magisterial District Judge Michael Mychak.
Oshman was charged in connection with an April 16 incident at his residence.
n Joshua Hoppes, 20, of Pine Grove, waived to court Wednesday three counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and one count each of failure to drive in a single lane and underage drinking involving a March 13 incident along Route 54 at Natalie.
Mount Carmel Township Patrolman David Stamets Jr. filed the charges.
Hoppes was ordered by Senior Magisterial District Judge Michael Mychak to appear for arraignment Aug. 4 at Northumberland County Courthouse, Sunbury.
n Andrew S. McCormick, 20, of 10 Marshall St., Locust Gap, waived to court Wednesday three counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, a lighting violation and a charge of underage drinking and was ordered by Senior Magisterial District Judge Michael Mychak to appear for arraignment Aug. 4 at Northumberland County Courthouse, Sunbury.
The charges were filed by Mount Carmel Township Officer David Stamets Jr. in connection with an April 4 vehicle stop at the intersection of Routes 54 and 2038.
n Christopher A. Yucha, 21, of 13 Front St., Strong, waived to court Wednesday a charge of corruption of minors and was ordered by Senior Magisterial District Judge Michael Mychak to appear for arraignment Aug. 4 at Northumberland County Courthouse, Sunbury.
Yucha was charged by Mount Carmel Patrolman Matthew Dillman in connection with a May 3 incident in the 600 block of East Fourth Street.
n Jeffrey W. Reed, 26, of 443 S. Shamokin St., Shamokin, was held for court Wednesday on a charge of possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia and was ordered by Senior Magisterial District Judge Michael Mychak to appear for arraignment Aug. 4 at Northumberland County Courthouse, Sunbury.
Reed was charged by Mount Carmel Township Patrolman Kelly Campbell in connection with an April 24 incident in the parking lot at the Pine Burr Inn at Atlas.
n Stephen J. Bendas Jr., 36, of 110 N. Locust St., Mount Carmel, pleaded guilty Wednesday to disorderly conduct and was ordered by Senior Magisterial District Judge Michael to pay a fine and costs totaling $438.50. Additional charges of simple assault and harassment were withdrawn.
Bendas was charged by Mount Carmel Officer David Donkochik in connection with a May 14 disturbance at 430 N. Chestnut St.
n Marion J. Kenenitz, 47, of 430 N. Chestnut St., Mount Carmel, waived to court Wednesday charges of simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct relating to the same May 14 disturbance. She was ordered by Senior Magisterial District Judge Michael Mychak to appear for arraignment Aug. 4 at Northumberland County Courthouse, Sunbury.
