Indecent assault

MILLERSBURG - Jeremy John Lebo, 35, of 221 Pearl St., Millersburg, has been charged by state police at Lykens with aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, unlawful contact with a minor and corruption of minors relating to incidents involving a 15-year-old Halifax girl at his residence in August.

Police said Lebo also was charged with obscene and other sexual materials and performances for a text picture he sent to the victim.

Police said the victim's mother found inappropriate text messages from Lebo on her daughter's phone, which led to the investigation, which also involved Dauphin County Children and Youth Services.

Lebo was arraigned Friday and committed to Dauphin County Prison in Harrisburg in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Driver uninjured

JORDAN TOWNSHIP - Kathy A. Schultz, 55, of Herndon, escaped injury Thursday night in a one-vehicle accident along Route 3016 west of Greenbrier Road in this Northumberland County township.

Police said Schultz was driving a 1999 Chevrolet Venture west at 7:35 p.m. when she failed to negotiate a left curve, causing her vehicle to exit the road and strike a mailbox and several trees. Police said Schultz fled the scene, but was stopped soon afterward by a trooper.
