Several community groups — including Habitat For Wildlife, SCRA VISTA and Woodcock Limited of PA — worked together to clean up about 350 tires in the Burnside section of Coal Township recently. The tires will be recycled safely into playground mulch and other usable products by mahantango.com. Pennsylvania Environmental Council is paying for disposal.
