COAL TOWNSHIP — Levi Reigle, 25, of 1244 Chemung St., Coal Township, was charged by Coal Township police with possession of heroin relating to an incident near his home at 3:20 p.m. Nov. 5.
WILLIAMSPORT — District Enforcement Office 6 of the Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement received 70 complaints and conducted 25 inspections of licensed establishments for age compliance during December.
Three criminal arrests were made and six establishments were cited for selling alcohol to an underage buyer. Thirteen violation letters and 15 warning letters were issued for violations of liquor laws.
Officers assigned to the office are charged with enforcing liquor laws and related provisions at over 969 establishments licensed by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board in Bradford, Clinton, Columbia, Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland, Potter, Snyder, Sullivan, Tioga and Union counties.
SHAMOKIN — Tina Alison Smith, 58, of 47 W. Fourth St., Mount Carmel, was charged by Patrolman Brandon Cohick with driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving, operating a vehicle with a suspended registration, driving without insurance, driving with an expired registration and driving with an expired inspection.
The charges relate to an accident at 8:42 p.m. Dec. 19 at Market and Pine streets.
Police reported Smith had a blood-alcohol content of .218 percent.
COAL TOWNSHIP — Stephanie Jeffery, 26, of 919 E. Sunbury St., Shamokin, was charged by Patrolman Edward Purcell with possession of a small amount of marijuana in connection with a Sept. 23 sobriety checkpoint on Route 61 near the former Sam Bressi Motors.
COAL TOWNSHIP — Brian Williams, 25, of 2213 Park Road, Coal Township, was charged by Patrolman Edward Purcell with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol relating to a Sept. 23 sobriety checkpoint on Route 61 near the former Sam Bressi Motors.
Police reported Williams had a blood-alcohol content of .209 percent.

COAL TOWNSHIP — Brandon Garancheski, 23, of 509 S. Seventh St., Shamokin, was charged by Patrolman Edward Purcell with driving under suspension and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The charges relate to a Sept. 23 sobriety checkpoint on Route 61 near the former Sam Bressi Motors.
SHAMOKIN — Nicholas M. Marrone, 25, of 102 N. Vine St., Shamokin, pleaded guilty Tuesday to possession of drug paraphernalia and was ordered to pay a $300 fine plus costs and placed on probation for one year.
A charge of possession of Oxycodone was withdrawn.
Marrone was charged by Shamokin Patrolman Raymond Siko II in connection with an Oct. 6 incident at his home.
