Disorderly conduct

COAL TOWNSHIP — Charges of disorderly conduct have been file with Northumberland County Juvenile Services against a 16-year-old Coal Township male. Around 7:40 a.m. March 1, the student was allegedly unruly at Shamokin Area High School, kicking a classroom chair, slamming a door, yelling obscenities in the hallways and main office area and becoming aggressive toward staff.

Public drunkenness, drug possession

COAL TOWNSHIP — Charles Mosley, 46, of 100 S. Fir St., Shamokin, was charged by police with public drunkenness, criminal mischief and possession of a controlled substance related to a 1 a.m. incident Saturday.

Mosley was allegedly seen exiting Joseph Cupparo’s vehicle in front of his residence at 1510 Tioga St. Police report the passenger side window was smashed out, resulting in $352.64 in damages.

Attempted break-in

ELYSBURG — Ralpho Township police are investigating an attempted break-in early Monday morning at Burch’s Drug Store. The suspect used a blunt object in an attempt to break the glass and gain entry into the building. The suspect also tried to silence alarms by cutting wires located in the rear of the building.
