KULPMONT — Dylan James Howerter, 18, of 1428 Chestnut St., Kulpmont, was charged by Patrolman Nathan Foust with possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia and possession of a small amount of marijuana.
Edwin Howerter contacted Northumberland County Communications Center to report drug paraphernalia he found in his son Dylan’s room. At the home, Foust was shown a smoking pipe with burnt residue found in a pencil case in Dylan’s bookbag and a grinder with a small amount of marijuana located in a pillowcase on Dylan’s bed.
KULPMONT — Michael C. Westwood, 36, of 601 Chestnut St. Kulpmont, was charged by Patrolman Nathan Foust with simple assault and harassment related to a Jan. 29 incident.
Stephanie Jones reported to police that she had gone to Westwood’s home to check on him after he told her he was going to kill himself. Once there, she said they began arguing and he allegedly started choking her on the ground and threatened to kill her. He went into his room and she reported hearing the sound of a gun “clicking” and ran out.
