On the border between Pennsylvania’s eastern Pocono Mountains and the state of New Jersey lies a 77,000-acre outdoor haven of immense beauty. The Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area offers something for everyone, including hiking, fishing, hunting and boating.

The water gap, which is open year-round, is transformed from season to season along with the changing face of nature. Visitors come from around the world to witness the spectacular area with its many natural wonders. Today the National Park Service estimates that the water gap averages nearly 4 million visitors per year.
