Breaking with tradition, Pennsylvania hunters will see a special one-day-only Sunday hunt taking place for archery deer hunting on Nov. 15. This will be the first of three special Sunday hunts to be held this November including one for bear hunting on Nov. 22 and one during the firearms deer season on Nov. 29.

After years of debate, Pennsylvania is slowly moving toward joining the vast majority of other states and allowing Sunday hunting. This year will see three Sundays with limited hunting opportunities being allowed.

Those dates will be Sunday, Nov. 15 for archery deer hunting; Sunday, Nov. 22 for bear hunting; and Sunday, Nov. 29 for the firearms deer season.
