I think it was two years ago during this time of year when my wife Karen, our daughter Jamie, and myself were fishing a Snyder County pond with the hopes of catching enough bullhead catfish to make a meal.

Fishing was good that evening and within minutes of putting out our gear we had three catfish on the stringer with high hopes of catching a few more. As I remember it, I was getting hungry just thinking about what tomorrow’s supper would be like. Fresh breaded catfish fillets, home cut French fries, and maybe even some hush puppies. Yes sir, it was a meal to look forward to.
