SHAMOKIN — Man’s best friend is always welcome at Bamse Coffee and Roasters. Owner Dan Montrose has turned an idea for a relaxing, dog-friendly coffee shop into a viable and popular business model that brings a slice of happiness to local dog and coffee lovers alike.
Montrose came up with the unique idea for a local dog-friendly coffee shop after seeing the popularity of similar stores throughout the western United States, where a growing number of them allow you to bring your pets inside.
