PAXINOS — Meadowview Christian Academy, 216 Tulip Road, has been providing a Bible-based education since 1973. At that time, a few local men had an idea to start a school that would teach the Bible, along with school academics. Because of the vision of these Christian men, Meadowview has been thriving for 47 years.
This year, the school has students enrolled who are related to three of the founding fathers of Meadowview — Robert Olvany, Jack Mangle and Dale Lahr. Olvany’s daughter graduated from Meadowview and his great-granddaughter, Lexi Carl, is a kindergarten student. Mangle has two great-granddaughters in the school, Penelope, first grade, and Natalie, fourth grade. Lahr’s nephew, Matt, who graduated from Meadowview, is now the president of Meadowview’s school board, and has a son, Landon, in fourth grade.
