COAL TOWNSHIP — PA Waste opened in 2012 utilizing a 10,000-square-foot facility. The transfer station accepts municipal and residual waste and recycling from various third-party entities, waste hauling companies and local residents.
PA Waste is contracted and licensed by the State to process up to 700 tons of municipal solid waste per day. In 2020, we recycled over 2 million pounds of cardboard. PA waste is open to the public for bulk item disposal, cardboard recycling, household cleanouts, and daily waste disposal.
