ALTOONA — Sheetz on Wednesday announced nearly all of its employees will experience an increase in wages or have already received a raise within the last year.

The Altoona-based convenience store chain said it has invested $16.8 million in store wages. The increased wages are part of Sheetz’s goal to offer competitive wages, enabling them to “attract and retain top talent.”
