MOUNT CARMEL — A vehicle pursuit that began in the borough and reached speeds upward of 120 mph on Route 61 in Columbia County ended when the 21-year-old driver crashed on Big Mine Run Road, about 1.5 miles east of Centralia, at about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.
