COAL TOWNSHIP — A 34-year-old Coal Township man has been charged with multiple offenses, including driving under the influence and fleeing from police with children in his car, involving a pursuit Friday night along Route 61 near McDonald’s.

Christian William Eby, of 517 Kulp Ave., was arraigned at 8:10 a.m. Saturday by on-call Magisterial District Judge Michael Diehl, of Milton, on a felony of fleeing or attempting to elude police, misdemeanors of endangering the welfare of children (two counts), recklessly endangering another person (two counts), driving under the influence of a drug or combination of drugs, driving under the influence of a controlled substance and summaries of speeding, reckless driving and careless driving.
