WHITE DEER — A 19-year-old Lewisburg man is jailed in Union County charged with aggravated indecent assault and related charges associated with allegations he inappropriately touched a woman.
Michael Nathan Greenly, 19, was charged by state police at Milton with felony counts of aggravated indecent assault without consent and aggravated indecent-complainant is unconscious and misdemeanor counts of indecent assault and indecent assault person unconscious.
Troopers said Greenly assaulted the woman between 3:30 and 7 a.m. May 28 along Millers Bottom Road in White Deer Township, Union County. The two had smoked marijuana, troopers reported, then fell asleep. At some point the woman awakened to find Greenly performing a sexual activity on her.
She then “blacked out” due to a previous sexual assault, court papers indicated. Troopers allege that Greenly inappropriately touched the woman, who later awakened to find her shorts and underwear around her knees and her chest exposed.
Greenly allegedly told troopers he thought he was “set up.”
Troopers noted that bed linens and a comforter were collected as evidence and a sexual assault examination performed on the alleged victim.
Greenly was jailed on $15,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 23 before District Judge Jeffrey Mensch, Mifflinburg.
