DANVILLE — Jacob L. Snyder, 19, of Bloomsburg man, who had been listed in critical condition at Geisinger Medical Center after suffering severe injuries in an April 20 accident at the intersection of Routes 61 and 487 in Paxinos, was discharged from the hospital over the weekend, according to a nursing supervisor.

Trooper Tyler Birdsall, of state police at Stonington, reported Snyder was driving a 2007 Yamaha Raptor north on Route 61 at 8:38 p.m. April 20 when he failed to stop for a red light at the intersection with Route 487. Police said a 16-year-old male from Catawissa, who was operating a 2015 Hyundai Sonata, was attempting to make a left turn onto Route 487 when his car was hit by the Raptor.
