ELYSBURG — A nice crowd turned out Sunday for the 99th annual All Home Days at Ralpho Township Community Park that featured car and flower shows, a Vera Bradley bingo and musical entertainment by Lite Switch.
There were 99 entries in the car show ranging from trucks, street rods and imports.
“We had a great turnout and the nice weather definitely helped,” commented car show chairman Paul Reidinger. “It was a good show with a lot of different types of vehicles.”
Dan Honaberger, of Elysburg, captured the Best of Show Award with his 1957 Corvette.
There were more than 100 entries in the flower show sponsored by Elysburg Garden Club.
A breakfast sponsored by Ralpho Township Business Associates was held from 8 to 11 a.m. and a church service was conducted at 11 a.m. A Vera Bradley bingo was held from 1 to 4:30 p.m.
Lite Switch entertained the crowd from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
The three-day event wraps up today with a breakfast sponsored by Elysburg Methodist Church from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the dining hall kicking off the festivities.
The annual tribute to veterans will highlight the day’s activities at 4:30 p.m.
The Rotary Club 5K Race will be held at 9 a.m. The flower show will once again be open from 1 to 8 p.m. and a Soft Haven Leggins bingo will run from 1 to 4:30 p.m.
Memory Lane will provide musical entertainment from 2 to 4 and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
