SHAMOKIN — An audience of local residents appreciative of good music, gave a group of singers, instrumentalists, pianists and organists a standing ovation Monday night following a winter concert in First Presbyterian church, East Sunbury Street.

The February concert, one of several performed during the year by the group representing various age groups and some former high school and college music majors, was on hand as the musicians performed a concert of sacred and religious music. Included were trios, duets and solos, along with participants performing selections on wind instruments, piano and organ.
