SHAMOKIN — The final day of the Shamokin Area Rebuilding Workshop took place Thursday with about 60 people attending throughout the session held at Mother Cabrini Parish hall.

Facilitated by Danny Gogal, of the Department of Environmental Protection Agency, the workshop challenged those attending to break into six groups to address and discuss six issues. Each group took its specific topic and defined an action plan of how to define and address it. Those within each group exchanged information with the goal being continued dialogue and planning going forward among the groups.
