SUNBURY — The Northumberland County District Attorney’s Office received a “satisfactory” rating on a recent audit conducted by the Pennsylvania Justice Network (J-Net) in Harrisburg.

These audits are conducted every three years and are done to ensure that each criminal agency accessing J-Net is in full compliance with the security policies and procedures. Access to J-Net is restricted to law enforcement agencies and criminal justice personnel who have a need to access driver’s license information, driving records and similar non-public sources of information, in connection with their official duties.

These audits ensure that individual access and use of this information by certified personnel is proper and done for official purposes only.
