SHAMOKIN — Three defendants entered guilty pleas Tuesday and were ordered by Magisterial District Judge John Gembic III to pay fines and costs.
• Scott R. Cover, 26, of 116 S. Carbon St., Shamokin, pleaded guilty to loitering and prowling at night and was ordered to pay a $300 fine plus costs and placed on probation for six months.
Cover was charged by Coal Township Patrolman Cody Rebuck in connection with an Oct. 27 incident in the 1000 block of West Arch Street.
• Olivia G. Miller, 20, of 901 E. Clay St., Shamokin, pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and was ordered to pay a $100 fine plus costs and placed on 12 months probation with 90 days inpatient rehabilitation.
A charge of possessing a small amount of marijuana was withdrawn.
Miller was charged by Shamokin Patrolman Shane Mowery relating to an Oct. 29 incident at an apartment in the 200 block of East Sunbury Street.
• Nathan C. Henderson, 20, of Shamokin, pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and was ordered to pay a $300 fine plus costs and placed on 12 months supervised probation.
Shamokin Cpl. Bryan Primerano charged Henderson in connection with an Oct. 7 incident in the first block of South Market Street.
