Donation for mental health awareness

On May 9, the Southern Columbia School District coordinated with the Columbia Montour Snyder Union (CMSU) Service System and McDowell Institute to hold a Mental Health Awareness Day. As part of the day’s activities, the students were able to purchase shirts through the high school student council. Proceeds from the shirts were donated back to the McDowell Institute. Presenting the donation above are, from left, Carter Spotts, Emma Rosko, Sarah Dobeck, who works for the CMSU as the prevention specialist at SCA; Tori Romania, designer of shirt; and Chloe Roughton.
