SUNBURY — The driver of a Hyundai Santa Fe who struck a horse and buggy, causing it to turn over on state Route 147 near Herndon last month, has been charged with driving under the influence.

Casey Kranz, 34, of 222 W. Walnut St., Beavertown, has been charged by Trooper Jason Kelley, of state police at Stonington, with two misdemeanor counts of DUI and one summary count each of following too closely and driving at an unsafe speed.
