ELYSBURG — An Elysburg man was arraigned Thursday after police say he accidentally shot his girlfriend while cleaning his firearms during an incident on Sept. 22 at his home.

Brandon Ray Lopez, 29, of 101 Nottingham Drive, Elysburg, was charged earlier this month by Patrolman David Tomtishen with endangering the welfare of children and reckless endangerment. He was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge William Cole and released on $25,000 unsecured bail.
