ELYSBURG — As hundreds of shooters of all ages and vocations provide a cacophony of shotgun blasts on the Valley Gun and Country Club’s trap fields, the achievements of some of the great shotgunners to ever fire at a clay bird, are on display just behind them.

The ever-expanding Pennsylvania State Shotgunners Association Hall of Fame room is open to visitors throughout the competitions, including the nine-day state shoot under way through Sunday.
