SUNBURY — Former B&L Chevrolet Buick owner Bob Leffler has filed a lawsuit against the company that purchased two of his area car dealerships for allegedly not honoring payments and terms of the sale.

According to a complaint filed in Northumberland County court in June, lawyers for Leffler claim Voiture LLC, owned by Cortright Wetherill Jr., failed to pay Leffler $67,000 by Dec. 31, 2019, as part of a $200,000 sales agreement for B&L Ford, Ashland. Payments were scheduled to be made through Dec. 31, 2021. Leffler also alleges in the lawsuit that CW Cars of Shamokin, also owned by Wetherill, failed to make a payment of $120,000 by Dec. 31, 2019, as part of a $1.25 million sales agreement for his Chevrolet dealership at 8742 state Route 61, Coal Township.
