Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

DANVILLE — Geisinger announced Wednesday it is requiring all of its unvaccinated employees to receive the COVID-19 vaccine within three weeks.

“Today, 18 months into the COVID-19 pandemic and facing another surge in infections, hospitalizations and deaths, Geisinger is announcing all employees will be required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 by Oct. 15. Rooted in values for safety and high-quality care, the decision requiring employees to receive the COVID-19 vaccine follows months of careful study and discussion,” a press release from the healthcare provider reads.

Companies need to read not just listen to main stream media. This is not a full approval. There are still many conditions that are not fully tested at this point. If a company requires this I feel they should be on the hook for any issues. Second they don’t force there employees to have the polio shoot for employment. Also the people who work at the hospital are probably the best informed to the issues and side effects that they are seeing. I do hop that with the forced shoot they are also signing a life time contract to pay this person for the rest of there life since if they are left go they can not get the shoot back out of them self. It’s my body my life my health.
