Coal Township resident Heather Reigle hands out candy during a trunk-or-treat she organized Sunday afternoon directly behind the Weis Markets along Walnut Street in Shamokin. About 20 people pulled in their vehicles to pass out candy to youngsters.

The Brokenshire and Arbogast families went with a “Hocus Pocus” theme to hand out candy Friday evening during the second annual trunk-or-treat hosted by Aaron’s in Coal Township. More than 10 vehicles were decorated for the event, which attracted a nice crowd.
