SHAMOKIN — Dozens of area residents enjoyed an evening of history Saturday during Light Up Lincoln, which served as the culmination of Home for the Holidays event held by Shamokin Area Businesses for Economic Revitalization (SABER).
Community leaders and history buffs were stationed on Lincoln Street starting at 5 p.m. to narrate a walking tour aimed at educating interested residents about the area’s history — and its future.
