Leschinskie takes oath

Joseph Leschinskie Jr. takes the oath of office Monday morning from Jesse Storm while surrounded by family at Shamokin City Hall.

SUNBURY — Joseph Leschinskie Jr., who was sworn into office Monday morning by notary public Jesse Storm, will continue to serve as a Shamokin councilman pending further court action that challenges him taking office while being a convicted felon.

During a 2 p.m. hearing Monday at the courthouse, Northumberland County President Judge Charles H. Saylor made no ruling on any of the challenges filed by county District Attorney Tony Matulewicz.

If the DA is correct with his statements here. The DA took this same oath of office. Please tell me then how he sleeps at night violating the rights of the citizens when he fills charges on them that are protected by there constitutional rights. Pa is in fact a 2 part state for recording. When you introduce the 3rd person it’s no longer a private conversation. Thus the charges of wiretapping violate the citizens constitutional rights. Stay tune for new charges on the DA and detective. 42 U.S.C ss 1983 https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/42/1983
