SUNBURY — A jury of seven men and seven women, including alternates, was selected Monday in Northumberland County Court for the trial of a state inmate accused of raping a male prisoner at SCI-Coal Township.

President Judge Charles H. Saylor presided over jury selection for Frantzy Delphin, 30, of Reading, who is charged by state police at Stonington with rape and related offenses in connection with an incident Sept. 2, 2016.

Delphin’s trial will begin Thursday morning.

The defendant is represented by public defender Michael Suders. First Assistant District Attorney Julia Skinner will prosecute the case.
