WILLIAMSPORT — A man who was terminated from his position as executive director of both Serenity Gardens, Kulpmont, and Hillside Senior Living, Montoursville, has filed a federal lawsuit claiming discrimination.

According to documents filed Monday in the U.S. Middle District Court in Williamsport, John Mercer is alleging Cardinal Senior Management, which owns both facilities, fired him just one day after he was placed on work restrictions due to a workplace injury.
